Tonight we headed to Petit Farms in Cartersville, Georgia, to look at Christmas lights. At the farm, they have numerous different animals, including camels, zebras, reindeer and goats. The farm was also decorated with lights. We had never been here before and the kids loved it and are asking to go back. The lights were not spectacular, however, the kids didn't seem to mind. Their favorite part was the hayride and feeding the camels (or watching Daddy feed the camels). They also got to talk to Santa and tell him about their list again.

Thanksgiving Day
This year we celebrated Thanksgiving at Aunt Nan and Uncle Andy's house. It was a smaller gathering this year but both Uncle Jim and Glenn were there along with Pop Pop and Cook Cook. Jack and Caroline enjoyed playing with cousin Madison. Jack loved playing with Uncle Andy's trucks. The food was delicious and we left very very hungry.

Movie Night
Tonight we had family movie night in Mom and Dad's bed. We watched the Grinch Who Stole Christmas to get us in the holiday spirit. The kids loved the movie but I think they enjoyed the popcorn and chocolate even more!

Ho Ho Ho Visit
Today,we took our annual trip to Phipps Plaza to meet with Santa. As usual, the trip was fun and exciting for both Jack and Caroline. Jack was happy to sit in Santa's lap and give him his list - jungle animals, barn, scooter and Ben 10 Humongisaur. Caroline was a little bit shy but did great. She kept telling us she would only sit in Mommy's lap. So I went with her at first, but by the end, we did get a picture without Mommy. On her list was a baby doll and princess phone (she calls it the hello thing). I sure do hope both can stay off Santa's naughty list. They will have to work extra hard. We will be seeing Santa again in a couple of weeks.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
I've been decorating for a couple of weeks now but we are officially finished! Last night we decorated the family tree in the keeping room. Jack had been looking forward to decorating it all week. Both Jack and Caroline helped to decorate the tree and did a fabulous job. Jack can get the ornaments on tree with the hook but still wants to put them all in the same area. Caroline, on the other hand, thinks she should hang the ornaments on the lights. I let her do it and then would move it to the branch.
After the tree was completed, we watched The Polar Express. Both of the kids enjoyed the movie and their popcorn. We are going on a train ride in December with Santa Claus. They are now really excited about their first train ride.

Thanksgiving Playdate
We had our third Thanksgiving celebration of the week with Jack and Caroline's friends. We went to Dru, Marley and Ms. Angie's house where we had a Traditional Thanksgiving Feast with turkey, dressing, mac and cheese, potato casserole, green beans and yummy cake. The big kids got to sit at the dining room table without the Mommy's! The cake was the hit of the party for Caroline. It had a lot of icing and seemed to keep her up all afternoon. We always have a good time celebrating with our friends.

Jack's Thanksgiving Feast
Jack's class had their Thanksgiving Celebration today. They performed three songs in the sanctuary and then had their feast with two other classes. The kids made a necklace, hat, vest and place mat for the day. The place mat was a Robertson Family Tribe mat with Traditional Native American names. Jack named each of us . . . Chief Tiger Daddy, Princess Diamond Mommy, Lion Tiger Jack and Baby Princess Caroline. They had also made hand cutouts with what they were thankful for written on the hand. Jack was thankful for his friends and Jack H. (a friend in his class that he went home with the day they did the hands).
Not a great picture - had to cut out all the other kids. In the sanctuary getting ready to sing.In Jack's class getting ready to celebrate

Caroline's Thanksgiving Feast
Today, we celebrated Caroline's Thanksgiving Feast with all her Caterpillar friends. I got to help plan and set up for their feast. We had a simple place mat craft for the kids to complete. They loved sticking the stickers on the mat and using the chalk to color. Caroline loved it and kept her busy for quiet awhile. The food was simple but delicious as always.

Happy 4th Birthday Ryan!
Today, we celebrated Ryan's 4th Birthday with a Kung Fu Panda theme. The party was at a Martial Arts facility. It was a neat party and Jack loved it! He got to watch a demonstration from some of the older kids and then got to try out some of his own moves. He got to block a punch, dodge the noodle and then break wood! He was so quick, that I didnt' not even get a picture of the actual breaking of the wood!

Last Day of Soccer
After a couple of rain outs, Jack finally had he last day of soccer. He has enjoyed playing and said he would like to play again in the Spring, if he can't play tee-ball. He also enjoyed having daddy help coach his team. For his last game both Pop Pop and Cook Cook came out to watch. I think Pop Pop thought it was quiet entertaining.
At the end of the game Jack received a medal for participating the entire season. He is so proud of his new soccer medal.

American Adventure
Since we are planning a trip to Disney in a few months, I thought Jack needed to experience some small rides. We headed to American Adventure with Riley today. The boys had a great time on most of the rides. Jack doesn't care for anything that goes up high or that goes really fast. He did good on the other rides. His favorite ride was the airplane ride. He had to ride them twice and I think he would have stayed on them for a third time. This was a neat place to go and we will go back again sometime for the miniature golf and go carts. Jack is enjoying his Fun Fridays!
